Macys parade
Any recommendations for hotels if your main purpose is visiting NY and seeing the parade. (hotel needs to be close not necessarily on the route). Friends are asking for my advice.
When Dh and I would go we would always take the train in and hang out by Columbus Circle since I knew food places around there and I could always use the bathroom at JJAY! lol

A lot of the hotels are sold out already. I've been getting a ton of requests for hotel rates and it's been a tough task.

The DoubleTree on 47th is a great spot, but I think it migh be too late now 
ETA: try the Marriot Courtyard on 43d Street (I think) its Times Sq. but not the Marquis.
