Anyone vacation there? If so, any recommendations for itineraries, places to stay or any must see places? We're thinking of either going around Washington or combining that with a few days in Oregon as well. We have 10 days to play around with.

We were originally booked for Vancouver, BC but unfortunately Canada still has pretty rigid travel and COVID mandates so we decided to stay domestic and go to the Pacific Northwest instead. Definitely less of a headache to stay in the country right now.

Thanks. Chat Icon

Re: Pacific Northwest

We are going to Washington in August to hike in Olympic National Park. Just starting the planning stages now. We are going to Bar Harbor in June to hike in Acadia and Washington in August for Olympic. CANNOT WAIT!!! I will let you know what we plan for Washington. We are starting now. We usually plan out several hikes as well as other activities that my sons enjoy. Usually an MLB game for my oldest mixed in and something artsy/musical for my youngest. So excited.

So awesome!!!! Acadia is also on my list the next time we're up there and we're also planning to see Olympic in Washington as well. There are so many incredible parks, forests and hiking opportunities that I don't know where to start. I cannot wait to go, it's the closest experience to Vancouver without the hassle of going to Vancouver. lol

We definitely need to chat, I'd love to hear your plans! Chat Icon

We did a FABULOUS trip last year where we started by just wanting to go to the Grand Canyon. But we made a huge road trip out of it... flew into Vegas then hiked Zion, Bryce Canyon, Canyon Reef, Grand Canyon, Moab and then flew out of Scottsdale, AZ. There is SO MUCH TO do just to get outside!

It's on my list for this Summer, but haven't booked anything yet.

This is a good start!

I was just in Northern California last week in San Francisco, and we drove to Big Sur, which was amazing! So beautiful!

Thank you, I'm definitely going to check that site out.

Let me know what you come up with once you start planning, I'd love any ideas!

I've never been to CA, that might be our next west coast adventure! Chat Icon

If you do end up in CA...it's a great adventure. I have been up and down the coast from San Fran to San Diego many, many, many times.

Definitely would love to go one day, there is so much to see. I've always wanted to check out wine country, San Fran and Lake Tahoe. Chat Icon
