Those with Direct tv
I just noticed you can’t get CBS anymore. I googled and they are in a money dispute with AT &T. Ever since they took over, prices have gone up, they no longer give discounts and now this.

We have it and are currently looking to get rid of it completely. Besides everything you listed, we are having issues with it since switching to 4K. They upgraded our boxes but it constantly freezes.
Every few months we call and play the game to get our billed lowered. This last time my husband told them that we were looking to go because what is the point of wasting everyone's time to haggle over the cost for service that has gone hill. They didn't really seem to care.

Same story here. Ever since AT & T got involved, everything has changed. I used to call and get discounts here and there. Now when you call to cancel, they don’t care at all. I had a few over charges for movies on my bill and they said they can’t credit it as I had enough discounts the last two years. Now this. I am definetely switching. Just trying to figure out if its easier to just go to optimum as I already have phone and internet with them.

We are going to a streaming service. Just not sure which one yet. I just changed my internet service to Fios because I was having the same issues with Optimum for phone and internet.

We had Direct TV for years. We were upgrading and they no showed on us 4 times. They didn't care when we called and complained about days lost from work etc. We cancelled after using them since 1999. We decided to stream and went to sling. We lasted with them for 3 months and found unfortunately that Direct TV Now, their streaming service was better and cheaper. For the most part we are happy with it, saving money. The CBS thing is unfortunate. It has happened with different channels and providers through the years. We have added LOCAST app to our apple tv stream CBS in the mean time. If you are looking to leave Direct TV consider their streaming service.
