Favorite Christmas event
I know it’s early but tickets go on sale for some things in 2 weeks....my girls will be turning 6 and 3 at Christmastime.
Due to tons of other commitments and birthdays, we can really only do one more involved special Christmas event. Which of these is your favorite and you think is worth the time/effort? Some are obviously more involved than others
Macy’s Santa (we’d then do a whole city day, possibly pair with Rockettes, which dd1 has seen before and loves) Essex North Pole Express Hershey Christmas stuff (we’d also do the Strasburg RR Night before Christmas if we made this trek)
Open to other experiences! Tia!

Re: Favorite Christmas event
We've only done Essex and loved it. We do it as a day trip. Hershey sounds fun if you have more time.

Re: Favorite Christmas event
For those ages, we love the North Pole Train (in NY in Kingston).
Bought tickets again this year and doing it with cousins.
I wasn’t a fan of the Rockettes. I actually hate going into NYC at Christmas time. Macy’s would be a nightmare for me.
Haven’t done Hershey Christmas stuff yet.

Favorite Christmas event
We did Hershey last year for their Candylane stuff (in November). It was great! LOVED the lights and the show. It was really cold when we went (Vet's weekend), but we still had a great time!!! I recommend that over all the other things!

I'm with you! We used to go every year to the Radio City show and it bored me to death. So I agree. And NYC at Christmas time is like my worst nightmare. I can't handle crowds even a little. I hate when I even have to go in for work in the month of December. I'd have to pop like 20 CBD gummies to make it through that!
I vote for maybe Hershey if you have the time. Sounds nice

Re: Favorite Christmas event
We have done all of those. We do radio city every year, the train every other year and Hershey we have only done once. We love all of it. I would say if you can only do one I would choose Hershey. It is more of an all day thing vs. a few hours in the city or a quick train ride.

We stayed at the Hershey Lodge! Super nice, and we loved the indoor water park. Just don't get a room in the "Fifth Avenue" Section, since when you leave, you will smell musty! I read this is a common problem. It's not cheap either! But, the lodge is decorated beautifully, the characters come to the lodge for pictures, they have activities, and you just hop on the bus to the park (felt like we were at Disney...just park the car and leave it!). Plus you get a great discount on the tickets. We also did the drive through light show thing there on their bus. But, I wouldn't recommend that...I would drive your own car. We had obstructed views a lot
