I'm so sorry for your loss. What you decide to do for this baby is so personal, but I hope your doctor or the hospital can refer you to someone to talk to to maybe help you work through some of your thoughts.

My very first pregnancy loss was at 17 weeks. Our baby was named and buried.  I'm so sorry you are going through this, I know the pain very well and I wish I could tell you it gets easier but what I can tell you is you just find a new normal.
ETA: Please feel free to reach out through FM anytime. I've been in a similar place to what you're going through many times at various stages of pregnancy so I can identify so much with what you're experiencing.

I am so sorry! It happened to me at my 12 week sonogram and it was the worst feeling ever  I had the D&C and found out the sex. I sort of wish I hadn't because it makes me so sad to this day (at the time I had 2 DS and the lost baby was a DD). I keep thinking of our life if the baby had come to term. It makes it that much harder to find out the gender and in many ways I wish I did not know.

This was my 4th baby, I have 3 boys. I didn't want to know the sex. It would make it that much harder. We decided on a gender neutral name. It will be our Angel in heaven always.
