NYC restaurant for a large group
My DH planned a weekend in the city with friends for my 40th so we need suggestions for restaurants for a large group 13-15people. We are staying at the Battety Park Ritz so we want restaurants downtown (not above 23rd) street. Ideas?

Blue Ribbon. I'm pretty sure you can make reservations for more than 6 people.

Thanks, I checked it out but they only take up to party of 8

There are lots of new restaurants in the area, that I think could accommodate large groups. I don't know which ones take reservations, though. There are the restaurants in Stone Street in the FiDi (Ulysses, Mad Dog & Beans, Becketts, etc). Right by the Ritz you have Pier A. It is loud, but on the second floor there is a Cuban restaurant. Delicious food and cocktails, but expensive.
By Brookfields, you can find El Vez, Blue Smoke, Amada and Del Frisco's grill, among others.

NYC restaurant for a large group
Del Frisco Grille hosted a work group of mine. We had 15 and we're able to order off the regular menu. Food is good, it's just loud.
