Approximate cost in your experience
Not ready to start getting quotes but am curious how much approximately it costs to pave a driveway? This driveway has gravel and it is not your typical long skinny driveway. More like when you're in a parking lot and 3 cars can park in a row. So like one car long and 3 cars wide.
Thanks!

My old driveway was similar to what you described. We paid about $4K to blacktop it.

We did ours last year and paid 3200 which included Belgium block. It would have been 2200 without the block. Our driveway is a similar size, parking two side by side and on one half we can squeeze two cars so in total it parks 3.

We just did this last year over our gravel driveway.
We had a French drain and dry well installed, black top bordered with pavers, a small (like 4 feet) paver walkway, and a new apron poured. We paid 5600, but I wouldn't suggest the company that did it.

Oh I wonder if I'll need that too because at the front of the drive way you walk down to the house and I know I'll need to direct water away from the front of the house.
Thanks everyone this is helpful so when I start getting quotes I'll at least know how much I'll be getting nailed for.
I hateeeeeeeee the gravel. It is so messy and I slip in heels, ballet slipper and flip flops. And you can't shovel snow normall or have it plowed!

Re: Approximate cost in your experience
We have 110 Ft Driveway that is 2 cars wide. To rip out old black top, regrade dirt, Belgium blocks on one side and pavers along the other - it was $9,500 (we wound up adding a whole lot with walkway, extra step, landing, etc but the original price was $9,500)
I know totally different size then yours, but wanted to give you an idea of what a large job costs

Generally, most houses are built so that the driveway drains away from the house into the gutter.
We priced blacktop vs pavers and it was only marginally more expensive for the pavers...but pavers look so much nicer. We also needed Belgium Blocks on one side. Those are the most expensive part.
