I do a load of laundry everyday. We are 2 adults and 2 kids (plus one dog)....

Once a week. I go to the laundromat and usually use 1 small machine. Obviously I don't separate anything

I used to work with a girl who when she didn't feel like doing laundry she would buy new clothes. Granted she was single with no kids, but still I always thought that was crazy!

I do it usually on sat/sun.
about 4 loads.
Whites
darks
towels are usually broken into 2 loads
It is just 2 of us.

2 adults, 2 kids. Honestly we have way too much of everything... clothes, socks, underwear, bed sheets, towels.... so the plus side of that is i don't have to do laundry as often. About once every 10 days I do a huge load of my/DH clothes. Also about once every 10 days I do a load of the boys' clothes. About once a month I wash all of my/DH bedding (sheets blankets pillowcases) & once a month for the boys' bedding. Towels and wash clothes I also do a load about every other week for me/DH and another load for the boys' towels every other week. Then a few miscellaneous loads here and there, like delicates. So I guess 12-15 (usually big) loads per month.

for now i do it once a week. Its jsut DH and I though. I normally do about 2 loads on the weekend. that's it.
I know once DC is here in a month though that will triple!

Usually its at least 1 load a day, every day, sometimes more. Mostly because my baby spits up a lot, so he and his sheets need to be changed often, as well as whatever dh or I was wearing if ds spit up on one of us.  And also 4 yo dd changed several times a day, as well - sometimes bc she got all messy and sometimes just bc she likes wardrobe changes .
