tell me others ways to get internet use without cable or verizon
is there a device I can buy at Best buy?
Phone too, if I still want a "real" phone any cheap options other then paying for each service separately via cable, etc.

We use cable for our internet. If there was a cheaper, reliable option I'm sure we'd have it - so it probably doesn't exist! We do not have cable tv or a house phone.

You really can't. Unless you want to use your cell phone as a Hotspot but you would burn through a ton of data and it certainly wouldn't be cheaper than Cablevision or Fios.
Bottom line...you need an Internet provider in order to get on the Internet.
The cable companies and Verizon are it

We have time warner. We have very basic cable (nbc, abc, cbs, fox, etc - maybe 20 channels total) and internet. My bill is $50.

For home phone service tmobile have a device that you connect to your internet router (so you would need internet from a provider) and you connect a regular home phone to to it. The service for that is $10 a month

my parents bought something called Ellipis jet packet from verizon at Best Buy, my parents are in Fla for the winter and the internet service is not great, Its cost $20 a month
