Well all that extra weight puts a tremendous strain on the heart....they might be trying to be realistic. Not sure if they will actually kill him off, I hope not, but it will definitely bring a whole other level of drama. This show is just so well written! I don't know how I'll wait to January 10!!

Ok... did I miss something. All Randall does is talk about his dad. What about his birth mom? Why does he NEVER mention her? He only talks about his mom (Mandy) and birth father.
The whole thing with the suicide was weird. I get they were trying to get Randall to see the light with his family and forgiveness, but it was weird to suddenly throw in this guy with his story and then that's it.
What happened to the bitchy actress too that left? I didn't care for her. I hope Kevin and this chick get together. She seems more real.
Ok.. as you can see I may have missed an episode or 2 so checking if I missed something.

Remember when he said to him the best gift would be for Randall to help someone like he helped him as a newborn? or something to that effect. That's what the suicide save was about. He did what the Dr. had asked him because nothing bad ever happens on xmas eve.
I really hope they don't kill off Toby. I like him. I love them together. But it may be the way they all get on board with Kates surgery. Seeing first hand the dangers of being that over weight.
I absolutely love this show. I wish every week that it was a Netflix Original so I could have binged this season already in 1 weekend.
I cannot wait for January 10th!!

Was Not expecting that ending. I'll admit, I'm not a Toby fan. I find him annoying. I am curious to see if he actually dies. I don't think he will though I think it will be a wake up call.

Loved the whole episode.
A co worker thinks that Toby might have a connection to the Dr.
I think she is reaching for that one.
My favorite part was Randall's face when his daughter was like Grandpa is Gay or Bi .... it was priceless

I really don't think they'll kill off Toby. Did he and Kate have sex right before he collapsed? Were they trying to say he had a heart attack from the exertion?
I love how Randall saved that guy's life... he showed up at just the right moment.
I love this show! So glad it's only on break for one month!

In recent photos the actor who plays Toby is MUCH thinner. I have a feeling they will NOT kill him off but it is a wake up call for them as a couple that they need to better their health.
Last nights episode dealt with suicide, obesity, cancer, forgiveness, the gay community. different religions and so much more! I love this show. Such an amazing show.
I am dreading when they explain why / how Jack died.

Wow he really does look great. He must live and I bet he loses the weight on the show.
I read an interview with "Kate" and she is contractually obligated to lose weight for the show too. It's part of her characters stroyline

The actor who plays Toby wears a "fat suit" on the show - I saw him talking about it on an interview a while ago. His face does look a lot thinner too, so I guess he was somewhat over weight and lost it, but a lot of it was "fake."
