In a fight till the death with DELL8* update
I hate DELLLL. Worst company next to cable!!!
I feel like contacting the BBB, Bc I dont know what else to do.

***added. other than the BBB where else con I lodge a compliant *****
for the BBB its asks if this is a US or Canada based company. Not sure how to answer, it is both US and INDIA.
I am dealing with an A hole from India at corporate.
***** edit** I placed a complainet with the BBB and now DELL keeps trying to contact me. They sent me a package, with replacement parts. I still need to open but the email said for a notebook, I DONT OWN A NOTE BOOK DELL!!! A- hole from corporate

Honestly I moved to Apple 8 years ago because I would not and could not deal with Dell. I have never looked back. Let me guess you are speaking to a call center in India?

What happened? I dealt with them in the past and kept trying until I got someone that could help and rectify the situation.

They never call when they say they will or when I say is a good time. They are suppose to replace my cord, new they're insisting I never told them. i told them on the phone and in emails.
The are suppose to send me a disk to wipe out my operating system, nothing yet.
ITs a war, Im in a battle and Im pissed.

It's a shame. Many years ago, Dell became famous and the go-to brand BECAUSE of their customer service. When it was based in Texas, they had amazing phone support. I used to actually enjoy calling them for help....
I guess it was cheaper to ship it overseas....

That is why we went with HP when the Dell was on its way out.
It wasn't worth the aggravation to get it fixed.

I broke my computer trying to fix it while on the phone with their overseas support.
The next time, I got someone in Texas and they went through the log and were shocked at what the customer service rep overseas had me work on. She sent a tech immediately.
We no longer have a Dell.

Agreed. They last like 3years. I stopped buying after my 2nd one.

They pay help desk techs $9 an hour In India. In NY we pay ablut $25-$30 an hour for that same slillset. It's disturbing

I had an issue with them back in April trying to buy a laptop and they pissed me off so bad that I mailed a letter to their VP of customer service. She had someone from the Advanced Resolution Group call me back. This is their number: (800) 624-9897, ext 72-83898. This guy Raj was actually trying to be helpful, but I had already cancelled my order by then. I kept his info just in case.
Edited to answer your BBB question: it's a US company, based in Texas. From what I found, India reports into Texas.

Dell is the worst! They literally destroyed my new computer after I allowed them to enter it and fix something. I spend well over 100+ hours on the phone with them and it got me no where. Then real kicker....it appeared that whoever was working on my computer was able to hack it and accessed my bank accounts and withdraw money. They were able to transfer money to an account in another country. I had to prove to the bank it wasn't me because it was actually done through my online banking. It was a complete nightmare.
