activies out East for this week, HELP

I took this week off and really need to relax, I was in a 4 car crash in July, my car was the only one crushed between two and totaled. Work has been unkind to me when I need some days off and the need to leave early a few times to find and buy a new car. Mind you, I never call out sick and they u sally have to force me to take PTO time. I took a few days over a week ago and decided to take this week.

I am intrigued to go out by Pinder wines to see the sunflowers. Other areas, sayville, is there anything to see or do?

Those who lives out east Help, where can I go for the day, walk around, rest etc.

I dont want to go to the point as thats a 3 hr drive. I live in Nassua/ middle of the island.

Sayville is a cute little town to walk around and window shop. The Bayard cutting arboretum is nearby and is a beautiful, peaceful place to walk around. There's a little cafe there so we always get coffee and a little treat and sit out in the lawn.

Harbes family farm is always fun. Maybe a few wineries that aren't far out. I also enjoy walking around Northport Village. .

Someone recently posted about the sunflower fields out east for photography purposes. I'm almost certain she said that almost all had been cut already for the season. Northport village is very nice to walk around in -- right on the water, lots of cute shops and restaurants.
