Easing your mind between ultrasounds

Any tips? I went from weekly ultrasounds weeks 5-12 and now I won't have another until September. I have the 16 week visit next week but can't help but wonder if everything is ok in there and it's starting to cause me a lot of anxiety

I have a fetal Doppler monitor that I use to help ease my mind. You can get one on Amazon.

I also used a fetal Doppler in between scans. Once I started feeling movement and kicks though that would put my mind at ease. Once I got through the anatomy scan I had peace of mind.

I am with you on this. I don't feel good about buying a doppler personally, so I just wait it out and try to tell myself whatever is meant to be will be.

Me too Bought a Fetal Doppler and eased my mind big time, would only do it once/twice a week. I highly recommend Sonoline B, or anyone that shows the heart rate # because you can also pick up your own heart beat from arteries down there and manually counting was screwing things up.

I ordered from this site and had no issues came in 4 days.

I was the same way at the beginning but the further a long I got the less anxiety I had. Now I feel her move so I know she's still in there.

This. I got one on Amazon. I ended up only using it for about 3 weeks and then I was able to feel her kick and didnt need it anymore. But for the period of time before you can feel movement, it REALLY helps to put your mind at ease between ultrasounds.

This. Soon enough you'll be feeling your babies and then you should relax a little. Those kicks will reassure you.

Can they do an early anatomy scan at your appt next week? I had an early anatomy scan when I was 16w3d--was able to get a clear shot of gender and do a gender reveal then, too Chat Icon

Re: Easing your mind between ultrasounds

I am at the same week you are and feeling the same way. This is my 2nd child and I thought it would not bother me, but it is. I am considering the fetal doppler. I actually looked them up today. LOL

But I agree with the other ladies too that soon you will feel the baby move and you will know.
