Gift Question

My husbands god brother had a little girl. When she was born we sent her a personalized book.

She is 3 months old and we are seeing her for the first time this weekend. They are very well off and have lots of money, they also seem to have expensive taste in clothing so I don't want to just bring a Carters outfit etc.

Is it ok if I give a girly toy? I was thinking this bc it is my DDs fave toy. It says the age range is 6-36 months..

Should I do clothes instead?

Gift Question

My dd loves this toy but I do not think it is appropriate for a 3 month old. if you would like to get a toy I would pick something that is in the age range of 3-12 months.
I think clothing is always a great gift. Hanna Anderson and Gap Kids have cute moderately priced items and both stores have a lot of things on sale right now. Buy something you like and give a gift receipt.

I think it's a nice gift. They probably have toys that are approriate for her age range now. I personally appreciate having things for them to grow into - clothes or toys. I'd let them know when they open it that your daughter loves it and you hope she will too. 3 months is not that far off.

I agree. Just because a toy isn't appropriate now doesn't mean it won't be eventually. I'd bring the toy. You could also do a personalized stuffed animal or personalized towel. DD got a few (yes a few) of those personalized stools with the name blocks.
