is it in actual halloween wrappers?
i use to work in a food store a long time ago and this time of year the candy brought out was not for halloween but back to school
however i use to scratch my head because i didnt realize parents are sending thier kids into school with candy. ... unless meant more for college kids.
Russell stovers are wrapped like Halloween. And its the big bags that you get for handing out to trick or treaters. Its nuts LOL

That's nothing. I was in Hallmark last week and they had CHRISTMAS stuff out. And...people were actually BUYING it. It's 90 degrees out in the middle of July, folks. Step.away.from.the.Christmas.stuff.
I literally couldn't comprehend how we have not even hit "pumpkin everythng" season yet and there's already Xmas stuff on the shelves of stores
I worked for Hallmark in college. Ornaments came out in July, then the sale ornaments wouldn't leave the shelves until March.
I was sick of Christmas until I left that job.

The whole back-to-school,sales in July totally kill me. I don't want to think about going back yet. 1. Schools in the South go back August 5-10. This isn't the South. 2. Fall clothes? Nope, it's still 90 till October 3. The commercials enough!
The best is when the supermarkets sell mums at the end of August! Um, you know they bloom once and if it's warm, they die so...enjoy the green sticks till Christmas

ITA.
I know that's the nature of retail but I hate it.
I am not mentally ready to see Halloween stuff yet.
And yes - September is HOT especially in the beginning. I am a teacher and I always find that it is broiling hot the day I am setting up my classroom.
