What do you do with your ipad?
Bf generously gave me his ipad. He cleared it and set it all up for me with all the stuff I use on my phone and laptop. I'm not that technical I guess but always on my phone and computer. I put some games on it for my kids I found for free - farm puzzles. They are 2 and 4. They fight over it.
I don't know what to do with this ipad and feel bad that he gave it to me. I know someone else would love it. He wanted me to use it for work presentations, and meeting notes but I don't find it that great to take notes on and I'm scared I'm going to loose it, break it, or get it stolen.
What do you do with an ipad? I'm I missing the big picture, what's so great? Any apps you recommend?
Please help me fall in love with this thing.

What do you do with your ipad?
I use it for everything. I very rarely even open my laptop since I've gotten an iPad. I put movies and games on it for my son for when we fly.

I don't even use mine, I still use my laptop. I just find it easier to work on....I like the keyboard, the fact that it sits up on its own, etc. I barely ever touch mine.

same here. I barely use it. I use my phone or laptop mostly. My kids love ipads and use them everyday.

What do you do with your ipad?
My 3 year old uses her iPad daily. I never touch the other one.we have. It's more of a backup if hers dies since mine was a gift.

What do you do with your ipad?
Mine is from work and is in a case that has a keyboard attached. I travel between two different sites for work (only one where I have an office) so I mostly use it for emails for work purposes. I also go to seminars where they frequently email the materiels so I download them to have it available, instead of printing it out. I have the Kindle app on it and use that for books and use it for the Internet (like LIF adn FB lol).

DH gave me an Ipad years ago, that became DS's Ipad. Then a couple of years ago he gave me another one, that became his. I don't know what to use it for.
DS has games and watches videos on it. DH reads on his -news and kindle app- and watches movies on it when traveling.

I never use it.
My 2.5 year old loves it for some apps but I never use it myself. I prefer reading on a Kindle and I prefer using my laptop. I have a Macbook Air so its so light and easy to carry.

What do you do with your ipad?
I use my ipad during the day when I'm home for the internet. And I have books on it that I read when we travel. I use my laptop at night.

Find recipes
I read reviews for just about everything before I try
Oh and you can set up overdrive app so that you can very easily check out books from the library in an instant.

I use my iPad to access everything on the Internet. So for pretty much everything. 
I actually have owned iPads for a lot of years and I shattered the screen for the first time yesterday. I have to drop it off tomorrow to get fixed. I'm not sure how I am going to survive for 3 days without it.

I use it for everything. It's basically replaced my laptop. The only thing I use my laptop for is making Word and PowerPoint documents.
I use it for work- PP slides, error correction for my students, emails, etc.
Browsing the Internet
Watching TV shows
Writing lists and ideas down (I have the Apple Pencil)
Music
Travelling- backing up photos from my DSLR.

DH has one and I would have one if I thought I had any use for it, but I don't. I find it annoying and uncomfortable to do anything on and very much prefer my laptop. If I'm laying on the couch or in bed, I'd actually rather use my iPhone than the iPad as I find it more comfortable to use/hold.

I only use my ipad on trips. Don't use it on an everyday basis. I prefer my laptop. My kids also don't get to use their ipads on an everyday basis. Also on trips and occasionally on bad weather days.
