Those of you who shower at night...
What do you do with your hair so you don't have bedhead? I need to start showering at night but no matter what I try, I end up looking sort of like Medusa in the morning and then it takes just as long to make me look presentable to the public as it does for me to shower and blow dry.

Re: Those of you who shower at night...
I make sure it's completely dry ( I try to shower early enough so that it will air dry completely, if not I run the blow dryer over it) then put it up in a semi- loose top knot and spray it a bit with a light, flexible hold hairspray. I make sure to use a soft elastic- nothing tight like a rubber band. Something fabric covered and not too tight

Re: Those of you who shower at night...
I towel dry my hair, brush it, then just sleep on it. My hair looks the best when I do this. No blow drying, no brushing in the a.m.

I towel dry my hair, go to bed with it wet a lot. Morning do a quick blow dry and flat iron it.
Or if I'm up to it I'll dry and straighten it the same night

Re: Those of you who shower at night...
Have an old scrunchie that I make a very high ponytail or a loose bun on the top of my head if I am going to bed with damp hair. I wash my hair twice a week, more than that and it gets oily faster. It also takes forever to dry so I wash at night.

I let me hair air dry, but blow out the very front - like the section that would be bangs - otherwise I get curley Qs in that area. In the morning, I usually style it with a curling iron, waver, or straightener. If my part is greasy, I use some dry shampoo.

Re: Those of you who shower at night...
I had my head shaved for a St. Baldrick's fund raiser, so I don't have any issues with knots.... A "solution", but probably not one you're planning on using...

Re: Those of you who shower at night...
If I shower at night, I'll curl my hair in the morning, takes about 5-10 mins bc it doesn't have to be perfect and still look good. Or I'll shower earlier, around 4-5 pm and then blow dry.

I dry it, pony tail for sleep then flat iron or curl in the morning when I shower at night.

Re: Those of you who shower at night...
My hair is very short and even if I styled it, I'd wake up to it being all sorts of funky. So I wet it and dry it every morning.

Re: Those of you who shower at night...
Either I flat iron in the morning, or French braid at night and by the time I wake up it (usually) has a nice wave when I take it out.

Re: Those of you who shower at night...
I still can't figure it out. Still takes me the same amount of time to make myself look normal as if would if I just showered in the morning so I just suck it up and shower in the am. I envy people that can wake up and be out the door 20 minutes later. Those days are waaaayyyy gone.

Re: Those of you who shower at night...
I blow dry it at night (unless I happen to shower early enough that it can air dry completely - which rarely occurs)...brush it out and add a tiny bit (like a pea-sized amount) of an anti-static/frizz cream. Then I just sleep with it down like that. My hair is pin straight so maybe that's why it looks best when I do it at night?

This is kind of what I do, too. Air/towel dry and blow out the front part and roots for volume.
But it's never greasy in the morning and I don't usually do much styling, at least not for work. My hair gets a decent wave from sleeping on it damp.

Re: Those of you who shower at night...
Ideally do my hair before I sleep which means style with brush/hair dryer
When I have a new cut with lots of layers I can pull off going to bed with wet hair and having mostly a bed head look! I just brush upside down and try to fix it before I leave the house!

Re: Those of you who shower at night...
If I go to bed immediately after I dry my hair, my hair is a crinkled mess in the morning. I need to wait at least an hour after drying before going to bed. I guess that helps my hair settle or something.
