Glad it all worked out
I got rearended last summer on my way to work. The cop that showed up tried to talk me out of having him write a report. He was like "for that little damage" (you could read the woman's license plate imprinted in my bumper). I told him my car was leased and I certainly wasn't paying for the damage. Even when he gave me the report he was like "use this IF you want to go through insurance". Well I'm glad I did as the damage was $1800 to get fixed. I was so annoyed the cop tried to talk me out of having him write a report.
