Is the heat getting to anyone else???? Ughhhhh. I had my glucose test last week. I seriously can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying!!!!!
The heat and humidity has been killer. My feet and ankles have been swelling up from it!

How is everyone doing?? We haven't had a check-in for a while.
I'm almost 26 weeks. It's flown by up until the last 2 weeks and suddenly I feel like time is standing still LOL.
We're working on her nursery a lot (painted, furniture arrived, curtains and blinds up). We still need to hang some stuff on the walls, install the ceiling fan, and decorate...but it's coming along! I had my first high risk growth sono yesterday and she looks fantastic! Hurry up November!!!! I'm getting to the point where I just cant wait to meet her.

27 weeks here! Basically in the 3rd trimester which is insane. This is our second so we basically have everything, need a few things though. I plan to head to BBB for their semi annual clearance sale today. Hoping to score some deals haha.

I'm almost 24 weeks. Have my first growth sono this afternoon. We went out of state this past weekend for a wedding, and I fell down the stairs in my new shoes for the wedding and ended up in the hospital! I fell on my backside, and have a big bruise on my back/butt. After hours of monitoring, they said the baby seems ok. Very very scary.
I have done nothing as far as the nursery. I just have started buying some new burp cloths, swaddles, and new cloths as this baby is my first girl after my boys. I think my mom may be planning me a sprinkle in early October!
Hope everyone else is doing well!

I feel you! This is my 2nd and I said to my DH the other day that I'm SO DONE right now. He laughed and said "but you still have like 14 weeks to go". Yep...and I have no idea how the fluck I'm going to make it. I feel HUGE, bloated, swollen, my back hurts, my feet hurt, the heartburn is unbearable. I swear I feel like I'm 35 weeks. It must be this heat. God, I just hope that when the fall comes it gets better!!

By the time I finish blow drying my hair in the morning I feel like I need to take another shower. DH looks at me like I'm a crazy person. My feet are constantly swollen. And they hurt. I have only been wearing flip flops because nothing else fits.
Nursery has been painted. This is our first so we are waiting until after the shower before buying anything

Aww congrats! I've added you to the expecting list on the first page of this thread.
Hope you have a great shower this weekend!!!! Mine isn't until October and I'm SO impatient to just get everything and start organizing. That's the BEST feeling...once you have everything and you can assemble, wash, fold, install, and just be completely ready!

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I'm ready for this child to be born already. I am so uncomfortable all the time. When does everyone plan to stop working? I don't qualify for fmla so I only off 6 or 8 weeks after birth. I spoke to doctor yesterday and he said he can sign off once I hit 36 weeks. Furniture gets delivered on Friday.

I'm feeling like I have a little more energy lately, probably because I'm sleeping a little more. I still feel like baby might come early. I had a sono and baby is measuring a bit more than average, like 70th percentile.

No, I just have a feeling baby will be early. If you're measuring ahead, it could also be that your dates are off, but I don't think my due date could be any earlier.

I'm getting uncomfy now too! It's getting harder and harder to sleep, bend down, etc. I feel huge.
I am self-employed and plan to work right up until the end. I can sit all day, so my job is not physically demanding thankfully, and it's close by. I feel for you ladies who have a commute and physically difficult jobs.
Just passed my glucose test, and should be scheduling my c-section in the next few weeks!

I'm feeling extremely emotional lately and nobody to talk to about it! Had my 28 week appt yesterday for the glucose test and rhogam shot and thought they'd do a sono but apparently not. Next one isn't until 32 weeks. Haven't seen my baby since June 29, so 3 months with no sono. Everybody knew I had an appt last night and nobody asked how it went so I'm even more disappointed. Only positive was he said I can call next week to schedule my section date!! I'm just so tired and emotional and done with all of this! We're also moving the end of September and the house isn't ready yet, I've only gotten one room painted so far. I can't do all of this with a 14 month old and working 50+ hours a week!! Ugh!!! sorry for ranting!

I feel the same way!!! I am so moody and tired. I am definitely a lot more B******* with this pregnancy hahaha. I think it's the heat, on top of general exhaustion, stress, and running around after a 17 month old.
Oy we're almost there!!!

Sorry! It sometimes even takes my mom a day to ask about my appointment, but I know what you're saying.
I wish we had found our house already. I just want to stop looking and be settled in to enjoy our family. I feel like just picking any house at this point, but I know even if I do, we might not be moved in before baby comes.

When do you ladies plan on going on maternity leave? I can't wait for the doctor to say it's ok. I'm done. I don't qualify for FMLA but I'm not planning on staying at this job very long after the baby is born so if they let me go they let me go.

10/7 is my last day, I'm due 11/1.
