Venue for a bridal shower in Nassau?
I am MOH for a wedding in July. I need to plan the shower and we are planning it for May. Can anyone suggest a good place in Nassau County? We are probably having around 50 people. Thanks!
ETA: I'm also open to Suffolk, but more western Suffolk if there are good options there too.

Venue for a bridal shower in Nassau?
Not to scare you, but a few years ago when my mom was planning my baby shower for May she started calling places the first week in January and many were booked already. May is such a popular month (communions, showers, college graduations etc). I would call places and book something ASAP.

I just went to a shower at Smuggler Jack's in Massapequa it was very nice. They close off the restaurant for the shower, I think the room fits about 60.

Thank you! Yes I know I'm late, but my BIL and FSIL only got engaged a month ago and wanted to get married this summer because my FIL is very sick and they want him to be there. We also have some of the brides family flying in from FL and that was the only day they could do. So, unfortunately, I'm working with what I got!

I totally hear ya! That's wonderful that you are helping to pull things together quickly. I'm sure it will work out. Just another idea to throw out there, what about a nice backyard event? You could rent tables and chairs and tents and get it catered. We did DS's 1st birthday last year like that (80 people) and I love how it worked out. May is beautiful for outside events!

A few places I've had or been to showers at that were good: Sal's Place in N. Massapequa, Borrelli's in East Meadow, Elisas in North Bellmore, Paddys Loft in Massapequa.
