Looking for either restaurant or rentable hall for first bday. About 50 adults and 15 kids for lunch Looking to keep costs down as may also need entertainment

Not a hall but were celebrating at Nunleys Carousel. They are pretty reasonable but definitely not restaurant quality.
Sergio's and LA Piazza come to mind.

Re: Party place - Merrick to Massapeaqua
We had our DS' 1st Birthday at Jackie Reilly's in Bethpage. The prices were very reasonable even w/ beer/wine/soda package. It is not a private room but we got the whole restaurant part to ourselves, we had a daytime party of about 60 people. I hired children entertainers (they did face painting, balloon animals, magic show, dances, and a character appearance).

I am pretty sure seaford has a nice Knights of columbus. Runyons is pretty reasonable for parties. There is also Zona on merrick rd in massapequa my friends shower was there and it was really beautiful the place is brand new.

Not that exact area, but my daughter had my granddaughter's first birthday party at Elisa's Restaurant in North Bellmore. Very reasonably priced, and the food and service were very good.

Tre Scalini in Farmingdale. The food was good and reasonably priced, we didn't have a private room, but we had the room to ourselves.http://www.tre-scalini.com/

Party place - Merrick to Massapeaqua
The Knights of Columbus in Seaford is great. I had my bridal shower and my baby showers there, and my husband's cousin just had her son's first birthday there. The food is good, and the room downstairs worked great with kids. After throwing our son's birthday in a hall where we had to bring all the food in, we regretted not just going to the Knights of Columbus. They really do a great job, and it's so much easier.

Seaford Community Church has a party room we rented for my daughters 1st bday party that was ridiculously affordable.
