Stock Market investors...what do you think the future looks like?

I'm starting to invest and diversify my portfolio but good grief is it scary to see the stock market with all the red. I feel like running for the hills but all the financial advisors are saying no it will get better. But the itch to jump ship is real....

It's a long term thing. You have to be in it for the long term and ride out the waves. Now is a good time to snatch up cheaper shares.

Having been in the market since I was 18, so nearly 20 years, it goes up and it goes down. They say to buy low and sell high. Now if you need the money in a near term, I.e. Three years or less, I would not invest it in the market. But for long term gains it is the only real way to make money once the money is sitting in your account.

Watch Mad Money- and maybe get one of Jimmy Cramer's books. I learned so much from them.
Don't chase a high, don't hold onto something because you're brand loyal, and do your homework to see how a company's fundamentals change day-by-day. Good Luck!
