Car opinion need help deciding

I'm ordering a new car this week and keep going back and forth over what option to do.
It's a truck with a 3rd row. I don't know if I should do captains seats in the middle or a bench seat.
I think captains looks nicer and provides easier access to the third row but I also like the option of being able to hold an 8th passenger since I always seem to be stuck driving extra people around.

My last two trucks had captains. Pros or cons from people who have one or the other would be much appreciated.

I just found out that the middle seat in the bench can be taken out allowing for pass through.
I think that helped me decide. It's the best of both worlds. Captains for everyday use and I can add the extra seat when needed.

We're getting a new truck as well and we want the captains chairs...........100%. I like that you can get to the third row without having to move the middle seats which is a problem anyway with the kids carseats. Plus, I think it looks more open and spacious in the truck with the captains chairs.

Definitely captain!!! If you have small kids with car seats, you'll never use the third row.

I do preschool carpool driving 4 kids. Definitely captain chairs!
