What ever happened to the LIF update????
Wasn't there talk a couple of years ago about making the photo upload section user friendly and making the site better?
Little things don't even function anymore like the "most views this week" section of the photos page, that hasn't updated in 2 years!!
Every social media (message boards were the earliest type of social media) makes it simple to share photos and interact. Other online communities/message boards I visit have updated their platform significantly.
There are many times people ask a question & I'd love to post a pic but I can't spend 10 min trying to resize it or load it on to another site like shutterfly so i can post it here.
I'm guessing other people feel the same way. it can't be this difficult to post pics on LIW anymore can it?
I feel like so many people favor FB groups and other places now because LIF is so archaic.
Am I just a complainer or does anyone else agree?

What ever happened to the LIF update????
I think if you're expecting any improvements you need to readjust your expectations.

I think if you're expecting any improvements you need to readjust your expectations.
LOL I only have expectations because the powers that be mentioned an upgrade a while back....around the same time they started beta testing the Maze. I still have no idea what that was/is!!!
I'm amazed they still get sponsors for this site!!

perhaps that is one of the reasons for a high turnover rate here.. many people i know are no longer posting here because of those types of things

they have an app for LI Weddings but haven't seen one for LI Families I wonder if they will create one (or maybe there is one and I don't realize there is) that would be an improvement

I'm sure if they would have chosen to go with a larger, established bulletin board software that was updated regularly, there would have been better features and less dropoff.

What ever happened to the LIF update????
even if they make uploading pictures or changing an avatar easier for the average person, it will still take me an hour to a few days to figure it out, only needing to spend that much time every time to re learn what I learned the time before lol,
