Snow- Commute - tomorrow morning.
I guess this relates to suffolk more as they are saying thats where most of the snow will fall - but only a couple of inches. The problem is the timing - during the commute. Anyone think we will have a delayed school start in suffolk?
I have a doctor's appointment in the morning but it won't happen if we have a delayed start.

Snow- Commute - tomorrow morning.
The last weather report I saw was max of three inches and that was the eastern end. Less as you move west. So for 2 inches I would think school would go on. But each district is different. Some close and the thought of snow.

How on earth would snow accumulate? It was like 55° degrees today and it's been mild all week. The ground is warm mush. Weirdest winter ever.

Just got on the road made it half a mile turned around and texted my boss I wasn't coming- I'm sure she will be happy when she gets up. Oh well not coming!

Ugh, that's not promising. I could work remotely but I'm really debating going in. My office isn't that far.

Better to be safe. I never understood bosses who get upset that employees won't risk their lives to come in. Unless you are saving lives in your line of work, nothing is that important.

I'm in Queens and the snow is just wet, heavy (on my car) and yuck. I made it to work no problems, but I hope it stops soon.

We're in Massapequa Park...the snow is pretty bad. The roads haven't been plowed yet even the main roads and it's sticking pretty good.
I took DH to the train because he had to go in but I'm WFH. I'm 7 months pregnant not trying to fall or bust my asss out there.

I take the LIRR to Brooklyn and it was a pretty normal commute. I left a little earlier than usual and we probably only had 2 inches in central Nassau.

I can' t believe how much snow we have over 8 inches and still snowing. Maybe I was dreaming but I think it was 50 degrees yesterday
