dear office manager,
Dear Ms. Office Manager,
Thank you for wasting my time and your time AND... once everything was said and done, you did nothing.
A customer owed us money. You received said money, but left conflicting information on customer's job. Today, the customer would like new service, so I held up assigning a tech because it clearly says that the last time we went out there, she didn't pay the full amount. I kindly asked you to confirm because I TOOK IT UPON MYSELF to double-check and found that there are notes about a payment.
At this point, I has spent a good ten minutes figuring this out. I hand you the note to confirm and update the customer's info. You kindly double-check my double-checking and confirm that the customer has paid... at this point, you spent an additional ten minutes looking into the matter.
You look up at me and smilingly say that you don't delete conflicting info... "just in case."
I now, go to put the customer on the schedule and see THAT YOU DIDN'T REMOVE HER STILL OWING US MONEY!!! WTF!!???
Between the two of us, we WASTED about a half hour of time ON A MONDAY (which is the craziest day in the office) on figuring out NOTHING. Now, when the tech who gets assigned the job sees that the customer owes us money, according to the system, you will have wasted someone else's time and pissed off the customer who knows she paid her bill.
THANKS.
Thank you for continuing to waste time, money, and space.
Sincerely. A disgruntle employee
