No heat

No heat

So our heat stopped working about an hour ago. We have a service plan through PSEG and they say they don't have anyone avail until Monday. Should I be contacting a heating company at this point?

I wouldn't be freaking out so much if there wasn't a blizzard going on.

Oh man

Check out news12.com. They said before they have some numbers to call in case that happens.

Did you flip the circuit breakers?

I would try the circuit breakers first- I know ours shut on and off with a few second power outage. I would also call PSEG back and let them know it's an emergency. If not- I would contact a company- try twin air in Medford or USA Air in Port Jeff. Not sure where you are located but my parents have twin air and I have USA air with a service contract- the respond to emergencies within 24 hours. In the mean time, try keeping your pipes warm at least and wrap blankets around anything exposed

Thanks all. ETA we were able to fix the issue. Turns out it was just the pilot light had to be relit. We are newer homeowners who know shit about this type of stuff.
