HR question regarding 401K
I am now eligible to start participating in 401k at my job. I went to sign up and the system says they do not have my info on file. I called the company and they said the same thing. I have now reached out to HR three times and have not gotten a response. I even went as far as forwarding my email to the VP of HR on Friday and still waiting to get a response. There is another employee at the company who has been getting the same run around since July.
Is there anything I can do to further escalate this issue? It may seem petty but its a benefit I was promised upon receiving the job offer and so far my on boarding experience with the company hasn't been great.

Raise the issue to your boss.
Go to whoever is the boss of the vp of hr. I'd give them at least 2 days to respond first.

Contact the head of payroll as well, since they coordinate the deductions from your pay.

HR question regarding 401K
I'm not sure if it's considered a labor violation but I do know it is very important to the administration of the plan that they make sure you have access. You could file a complaint with the NYS DoL, I believe, if you wanted to.
