I didn't include a poll because I imagine weekday and weekend answers might vary.
I sleep 9-10 hours on the weekends and 8 during the week. I am actively trying to cut back to 7 during the week because I feel I could really use that extra hour in waking life!
 How do you manage that? I get about 5.5-6 during the week & 7 on the weekends, although last Friday I stayed up late & slept for 9 hours! I didn't get up in 11 on Saturday & felt like such a waste.
I usually hear that you should get the same on the weekend & during the week.
( I don't have kids, but I always have someplace I need to be, except some Sundays b/c I am a heathen who doesn't go to church.)
Hmmm--I'm not sure lol! I've always been a big sleeper, so that is probably part of it. I tend to avoid making plans early on Saturday and Sunday (I mean...I would go somewhere if I was invited, but nothing ever really seems to be early in the morning...knock on wood), so that is part of it too. Also, I don't have kids.

Usually around 6 which is not enough and totally my fault. My ds goes to sleep around 7 yet I'm naturally a night person. If I'm asleep before midnight it's a major accomplishment. I also rarely sleep through the night bc I'm always up for the bathroom.

usually 8. Sometimes closer to 9 on the weekends.
I need 8 hours to function. Luckily all 3 of my kids sleep.

7-8 during the week. 9-10 on the weekends. I come from a family of sleepers. Sleep deprivation was so tough on me when my kids were babies.

At this point in my life I'm lucky to get 5 hours of sleep on a typical work night & usually interrupted sleep because I have an 8 month old who wants to breastfeed during the night  and also because I'm not good at managing my time so I end up staying up too late & having to get up too early for work... on the weekend I get an extra hour or so. Usually what ends up happening is I hit a point where eventually I'm so tired one night that I fall asleep at 8 pm to help make up for lost sleep time. I miss naps!!!
