High School senior - yearbook question
If you have or have had a high school senior, did their yearbook have a place where you could place "Recognition Ads" - where you congratulate you child etc? Is this something a lot of parent's do? Is it something kids look forward to or is it embarrassing for kids? Trying to decide if it is something we should do for my SS. I "think" he would like it, but I could be way off base.
Thanks!

When I was in high school they had a section toward the end of the yearbook where you could purchase a place to put all sorts of "you are awesome" stuff for your kid. It was never my thing, personally.

High School senior - yearbook question
My HS yearbook had pages in the back. They were ad pages and some parents put "ads" in for their kids but it was mostly those that parents had businesses. My Dad took out an ad for his company and put a baby pic in of me and said congrats to Alli and the entire class...

High School senior - yearbook question
My hs yearbook had pages in the back. You could purchase a quarter. Half or full page. Some parents did it. Some groups of friends did it.

I've seen that, but this is directed to all parents - an email from the yearbook company, to take out "ads" specific to your child, to congratulate them or whatever.

High School senior - yearbook question
My high school year book had this. Some parents had big ads printed. I think my parents just wrote a couple sentences. It's cute.

Re: High School senior - yearbook question
In my year book - it was a tradition for parents to by ad space to put in a baby or toddler picture of the kid at the back. It was fun to look at them - but I would only do this if it is something that is common for all the students.
