HELP!! B-Day Gift

I need a last minute b-day gift for my DH! It is a big one...we were suppose to go away but it didn't work out and now I have NOTHING! It is a BIG birthday...he does NOT want a party. Any suggestions? Maybe a concert or "experience" type thing...I am at a loss, he is so hard!

Re: HELP!! B-Day Gift

DH and I both have big bdays this year.

Couldn't justify cost of a party and we haven't taken a real vacay in awhile.

Spur of the moment we decided to book a road trip to Disney for us and DS.

I'm planning to get the silly pins to acknowledge his bday while we are there.

Does he have a man cave or home office that needs sprucing up? We are in the process of redoing the home office for my husband as his big birthday gift.

The NY Comedy Festival is coming up in November and tickets just went on sale yesterday. Not sure if any of the names jump out at you, but here's a link to the schedule.

Otherwise.... helicopter tour? Driving experience? A weekend away since your trip fell through?

I like the experience route. A few years ago I took DH to Steve Cohen's Chamber Magic Show. It's held in a gorgeous suite at the Waldorf-Astoria and has a dress code to emulate magic shows in the early 1900's. Not only was the magic show amazing, but dressing up made it feel more special. We booked an early show and then had a nice dinner after.

If interested, I suggest buying tix in the first row so that you are really immersed in the show.

this is a great idea!

I like the idea of an experience also. I would add that there is jim gaffigan coming to MSG or you could do a car race where he can drive a maserati or lambo around the track a few times - check groupon
