Save the Dates
Hi : )
It's been over a decade since I did any sort of save the date cards but now my sister and I are doing save the date cards for our parents 50th Anniversary Party. I mocked one up very simple, names, date, invitation to follow. My sister wants to add the time of the party and the location. I think that is what the invitation is for. What do you think?

I agree with you. All of the save the dates I have gotten just have the date of the event.

A save the dates purpose is just to save the date. If you have location and time you might as well just use that as the invite.

Unless it's far away where the person has to travel and stay overnight I don't think it's necessary to put the place. If someone wants they can call and ask after they got the save the date.
