Is this enough food?

Expecting around 20 people for a block party, and ordered:

1 3 ft italian hero
1 3 ft american hero
1 fruit and cheese platter
Making a big bowl of italian pasta salad

Is this enough? Going to buy chips and salsa/dips as well.

Any other food suggestions you have would be great!

Is this enough food?

I think it depends on the people. Are they big eaters? Will you have other salads (like cole slaw, potato?)?

The heros come with it I believe- I should call and double check, thanks!

Alot of our friends are big drinkers, and the ones that stay later on that night will be grilling burgers and hot dogs with us. This is for the afternoon people- Maybe I should add more food!

OK< If you are goign to be doing burgers/hot dogs later, I think that is enough food, then. Sounds like a fun party!

How many pieces do each sandwich break down to? Is there only enough for 1 piece each?

I dunno A sandwich and some pasta salad w apps isnt really enough food for something like a block party.

I see you said you'll be grilling later but thats later - after thought. this is main lunch/Dinner.

I say more is better.

I would add another hero- maybe chicken cutlet? And another salad- potato, corn and bean, something like that. And something for any vegetarians might be a good idea, too.

My parents have a block party every year and last year they did a taco/fajita bar. Ground beef, shredded chicken, shrimp, beans, rice, peppers/onions, guacamole, all the fixings. Frozen margaritas and sangria. Easy and inexpensive and everyone loved it.

@luckystar, was going to do something like wings and stuff, but it's all outdoors and I don't want to do hot food because it'll get cold. Maybe i'll add a 3rd hero for everyone (each hero feeds 12-15 people)

I would definitely add another hero. If you go by the low end, you'll have barely enough for 20 people. There will be no chance of seconds if people are still hungry. I would also make some cold dips with chips- guacamole and salsa with tostitos, lentil dip with pita chips, onion dip and ridgies, crudités and ranch, etc...

as long as you have chips and dip and add an extra hero or just make one 6 ft, then i think you are good.

That 3rd hero sounds delish, with chicken cutlet or something like that... yum!

With that addition, i think you'll be ok.. definitely needed something else substantial other than those hero's. Dips/chips, apps as well and you'll be good!

Um, lentil dip? This sounds delicious! Now I want some lol Do you have a recipe?

OP, adding a meat dish like the pulled pork sounds like a good way to round out the food options. You could also do a quick tray of sausage and peppers with rolls.
