Weekend wedding
My BIL just got engaged and they're hoping to do a wedding weekend within 2-3 hours driving. Does anyone have any recommendations to look into? They're hoping for a place that does it all. They're not looking to rent just a space and have to bring all the seperate vendors in.

It's more om the casual side, but we went to a wedding at Navy Beach in Montauk in May that was really nice. For something more on the formal side, Montauk Yacht Club is beautiful!

I went to a great weekend wedding at the Crows Nest in Montauk. Great for a more casual wedding.

My cousin got married last year at The Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, NJ. It was a nice place to stay AND a nice wedding venue, and there is lots of other nice places (bars, restaurants) nearby.

My cousin was married here last year, and it was beautiful. The food was just ok though, not what you would expect with Woodloch's reputation.

It's not LI upscale but we got married over Columbus Day weekend at Kuhl's Highland House in the Hudson Valley (Middletown).
Our LI and city friends and family made a fall weekend out of it and loved it because it was something different.
Plus, like 1/3 the price of a wedding down here ;).
There are lots of hotels near by as well.
