$10 gif cards to Panera
Is this a good amount to purchase a lunch with a drink? I need to buy a bunch as end of year thank you gifts for school staff. TIA

Ha, maybe breakfast.
I feel like Panera has gotten expensive.
I was in there recently and got one of their noodle bowls and a drink and that was about $15.00
I had a bagel and an iced tea during the week and that was almost $6.00.

oh please, $10 is fine, if people spend more than $10 they can add the extra $3.00

I agree with this but she asked if 10 was enough to cover lunch and a drink. Unfortunately, it's really not. I am a teacher and I have gotten plenty of $10 gift cards and think it is more than fine. It truly is the thought that counts but if she wants to cover lunch and a drink I think it should be 15.

You are correct. She did ask if that was enough. I still think $10 can cover 1/2 sand 1/2 salad and I drink. I buy that and $10 is more than enough

Wow, I had to look up their prices online and they are bit pricey. I do like all the variety they have especially the bakery selection so at least there are other options other than a full lunch. I can't believe how much a typical lunch can cost these days.
I appreciate hearing it's the thought. Unfortunately I can't go over that and I really just wanted to give a little something they can choose instead of boxed chocolates or plant.

Just to clarify I think it's a nice gesture and a fine gift.
Personally, I was venting about how much their prices have gone up.
Since they are taking a turn to more clean foods, I am sure they will go up even more soon.
But that's everywhere in general too.

$10 is more than generous. If can definitely cover lunch and a drink depending on what you order. If not, they can kick in a few dollars or stick to a bakery item and drink. I think it's a great gift and a nice change from the typical dunkin out sb cards.

Idk if someone gave me a $10 and I needed to put a few bucks towards it is still be happy. If you give $15 they will end up with a few bucks left on the card after a meal.

Do I think the gift is generous? Yes.
Do I think it is enough to cover a meal and drink? Ehhh IDK. It's probably on the border.
I have only been to Panera a handful of times, but I feel like I've always spent more than $10.

I'm a teacher and a $10 gc is perfectly fine in my opinion. A person can choose to go and spend a few more dollars if they are interested in a more expensive meal. It is the same to me as when I give someone a gc to a more expensive restaurant...I don't necessarily give to cover a whole meal, because some people choose expensive entrees or wine, while others don't. I give what I am able and comfortable with.

I think $10 is a nice gift. If they wanna stick to the $10 they can find something in that price range. Another idea is Dunkin or Starbucks.
