Has anyone been to Nautical Park in Amityville
Are there picnic tables there...to eat lunch?
Is it right on the water?

Its at the top of a canal, so you see water (by a marina with boats) but right directly on Merrick Road. There are benches, but I don't recall picnic tables.

You can bring a blanket too and stretch out on the grass. There never seem to be a lot of people there. I drive by many times a day.
If you are looking for a park with tables, head down to Tanner. I don't think they are charging to get in yet. I think that starts in a few weeks. Merrick Rd. is not very relaxing to hang out on IMO.
