Recommend a bagel store in Manhattan
Can anyone recommend a bagel store between Penn Station and Madison out to 39th Street? I want a real bagel place not a deli or DD.

My favorites are murrays, h&h, ess-a-bagels. Those are a little (or a lot out of the way).
Daniels bagels is good and close to your range. It's on 3rd and 38/39

Best Bagels on 35th between 7th and 8th. They live up to their name, but sometimes the line can be out the door so plan for that! The line moves quickly though!

That's where we normally get them from but it is too far for me.
