Need a jewelry appraiser...I think
Long story short, FIL gave us a box of my deceased MIL jewelry. A jumble of things some real some fake and some that he has no idea where it came from. We are supposed to "split" the jewelry with dh's brother.
We are not planning to sell anything, but want to know what is fake and what isn't so that we can somewhat distribute things evenly.
Is there any such person who would sit down with us for an hour to do this? There are too many pieces to pay by the piece.

Jewelry Judge. I would call and ask them if they could do this. I don't see why not to be honest. They were really great when we've brought them multiple pieces.

I am way out East on the South Fork. I went to a trusted local jeweler to have my mother's jewelry appraised. It was free.

There were a few things I needed to know were real or not - they were not real - and I was given a list with the value of everything else.
