Progesterone levels

Are progesterone levels supposed to rise or remain constant? My progesterone was 22.3 last week and is 21.3 this week. I know that's a tiny drop, but should I be concerned? MD said numbers were fine. I believe I am 5w3d today.

TIA!

Those are good numbers. Prog can change day to day. My RE liked to see it above 10.

Your levels are completely fine. With my DD they dropped as low as 6 and all is well. This pregnancy they dropped to 11 and I'm 23 weeks.

Don't worry.

Yeah those levels are fine!! I had Ivf this time and my levels were always like 8-9 so I was freaking out in the beginning but I was on prog suppositories and they said it's getting where it needs to go and won't register in bloodwork. I'm now 27 weeks!!

So def don't worry! Those are great numbers!

Re: Progesterone levels

Progesterone levels differ throughout the day as well. By 10-12 weeks your placenta takes over and the progesterone levels are no longer important.

I am 8 weeks and my Prog levels have been between 12 & 17, the latest 14. Anything over 10 is fine if you didn't take meds, over 15 if you did.
