I need shoes for vacation for my 2 year old. please recommend your sandals both casual and something a little nicer for when we go out to dinner.

They are a little pricey, but I highly recommend Naturino. The styles are casual but dressy at the same time and can be worn with shorts and a tee or a dress. They are very supportive and very comfortable.

i like closed toe for kids.
old navy has these
they usually have a croc like pair but they don't seem to have them yet

I like these as well, Primigi, See Kai Run, and Salt Water Sandals.

Rachel kids- I just ordered a few pairs for Each of my girls from 6pm.com. They also carry them at Marshall's usually.
Beeko & Clarks- are also nice but can be pricey.

For the casual, I would recommend the Keen sandals. They have good support and they are waterproof. You can throw them in the wash as well! Both my boys have done well with these shoes!

Re: best sandals for toddler girl?
For casual I love crocs for my toddler girl. She lived in them last summer when she was two and also when we went to Florida . They have a bunch of different style now and not just the ones you usually come to mind when you think crocs
For dressier nothing beats joyfolie for me. Love all their shoes.

My absolute favorite sandals for DD are the Salt Water Sandals by Hoy. They have them on Zappos. DD is 3 1/2 and she's been wearing them the last two summers.
