Anyone been to sandals recently?
We've gone to Jamaica a bunch of times but it's been years. I want to surprise my DH with a short trip later this year. I know I want all inclusive and we don't like flights that aren't direct or really long rides from the airport to the resort if we are only away for a few days.
Anyone have any recent experience with sandals?
Any other AI resorts that meet my travel criteria you can suggest?

Anyone been to sandals recently?
I've gone to Sandals in Antigua and it was nice. Direct flight and only 20 min shuttle ride to the resort.

Anyone been to sandals recently?
I went to Sandals St. Lucia a few years ago and it was absolutely awful. Worst vacation I've ever taken. I've heard good things about Swept Away, though I personally have never been.

We did Sandals Antigua last December for our honeymoon. Absolutely amazing! Best all inclusive experience of my life. It was about a 4 hour flight and then a 20 min shuttle to the resort.

Yes. I would rec this place as well.
We, like you OP, went to Jamaica first and loved it and looked for something else similar and found Antigua checked all those boxes.
Avoid St. Lucia like the black plague

I've never been to Sandals, but I think RIU in Aruba meets your criteria. The flight isn't too long, the resort isn't far from the airport and the resort/food is amazing!

Anyone been to sandals recently?
We went to Sandals Antigua for our honeymoon in 2012 it was SO nice! the only annoying thing was the beach vendors they try to sell you literally everything and anything! but a simple no throw on your sunglasses and they leave you alone!

Anyone been to sandals recently?
We went to Live Aqua in Cancun, this past December. It was great.
There is also a Live Aqua in Mexico, but it is not all inclusive.

When are you planning on going? My DH said he doesn't think they do direct flights all year round because there's not a market for it. We went in May and flew Delta direct.
