It depends on what you are looking for. They don't have store wide sales but usually different items. I got an email this morning that bedding and some beds were on sale.
If you sign-up you will get the email notifications about sales and they will also send you discounts at different times.

You can buy promo codes off of ebay for a few bucks. It is worth it if you are buying enough where the savings is greater than the cost of the coupons.

I don't know when but they do Friends and Family, I think it just ended recently. I believe you get back some % of Pottery Barn $ depending what you spend. We just bought several things but DH pays more attention to what the sales are than I do.

I've done a few things to get a better price at Pottery Barn.
I've started a registry, added what I wanted to the reqistry & had a date a few days later. Then, they offered promos for anything not purchased on my registry.
Another good way is (after you have registered as a user to PB) to add what you want to your shopping cart. They started sending my promos on window treatments which grew as the weeks passed. Meanwhile my friend confirmed she didn't see them on sale on her computer & wasn't send promos.

YES. I open an email sent by them, and go to their website. Ive been looking at these hooded shirts for boys, but they were  After two days, I got a 20% off my total bill in my email this week!!
