I read a few articles saying most of it was staged. Some of the couples are actors and models. Even if it was staged its a cute video.

I read the the grooms knew but not the brides. One bride literally says "wtf"

As someone who has dealt with this industry, there is no way this was a "surprise." It may have been a surprise for some of the guests, but not BOTH the bride and groom. The amount of permissions/ releases that go into something like this is insane and all has to be arranged beforehand. Plus, think about it - a catering hall can't just decide to let Maroon 5 crash someone's wedding (especially since they may hate the band!) without getting permission from at least one of the contracting parties. It would be a nice idea if it were a surprise but that's just not how it works.
In any event, I still think the video is awesome and fun. And that Adam Levine is hot!
