CVS results are in.....oh the relief!
Got the call earlier from the genetic counselor that my preliminary results are all clean. I cried when I heard her say it - didn't realize how amazingly anxious I was.
After 3 consecutive losses (the third of which we know was for genetic abnormalities) and being of advanced age......I was sweating it.
We're thrilled to have a prelim all clear - and further excited at the news that we're having a boy.  We both wanted another boy.....and I can't explain how overcome w emotion I get when I think of DS as having a brother.
As for the test itself - it was a breeze. The counselor I met with had me totally oriented for what to expect. I had the test on Wednesday morning and felt totally fine when I woke up today (Friday). If anyone wants particular info on my test experience, just let me know.
The peace of mind I now feel at 11 weeks and 2 days immeasurable.

CVS results are in.....oh the relief!
I'm so happy for you! I had a cvs myself for an abnormal nt scan and I remember how nerve wracking, scary and stressful the whole experience was. It was like such a breath of relief when my results came back negative too. The waiting was the absolute worst and I drove myself crazy with worry!
But congrats on all accounts and finding out your having a boy!!!
