Ski Vacation
My sister is looking to book a trip for her family to go skiing. She has little kids who would need lessons. Any ideas? She wants to drive and be at a place with activities too if possible. Thanks!

We used to go to Smuggler's Notch in Vermont when we were younger and it was great.

We go to Smuggs every year with our 3 kids and love it. They have been taking lessons there since age 3!

If she doesn't want to go that far, she can look into Woodloch (skiing is like 15 minutes away), Villa Roma has a small ski hill, Minerals has Mountain Creek right up the block.

We love Okemo. My parents have a place there and we have been going since I was a kid. It is so well run and family-friendly. Not as long a trip north as Smugglers Notch or Stowe, but has great snowmaking and well groomed trails.
