Navy cape sweater
I bought a navy cape sweater at Macys that I love. I want to wear it on Sunday with skinny jeans. Would you do a black boot or a brown boot? Or can I really go with either?

How dark is the navy? A darker black/blue, I would wear it with a brown boot.

I would go with brown. If you have a lighter brown colored boot I think that would look great.
I think a cobalt blue works better with black than a darker navy does.

Navy and black is completely acceptable.
However, how dark are you jeans? If you're wearing a navy sweater AND dark jeans I'd opt for the brown boot

Honestly can go either way. I'm seeing a lot of navy and black shown together this season in the stores. Even navy and black together in prints on different tops etc...
