Are you guys doing it and who are you using?
I didn't do it for my first but I keep hearing that if I do it for my second it can benefit both kids.

I'm not doing it--I'm letting the blood pulse out of the placenta before they clamp/cut, and we're not able to do both.

Its the same cord blood people bank, I just think its more beneficial to have it go into the baby's body immediately vs possibly using it (or more than likely not using it) years down the road.

I was considering donating it... our dr charges a collection fee, but the thought of helping save some kid...
but I haven't heard about this blood pulse thing before... I may have to ask my doctor.

I plan on doing the delayed cord cutting so it all goes back into the baby. If for some reason we can't do that, I'll be donating it.

I donated Dd cord blood to the public bank- it can only be done if your hospital participates in the program. The sample is available for anyone who is a match. After a ton of research I decided this was the right choice for me.

I donated the cord blood and placenta. I used life bank usa. I believe they are the only company that will take your placenta. I was so happy I was able to donate instead of it just getting put in the garbage. I felt like I could possibly safe someone's life.
