Do you still nurse/ give breast milk when you are sick?
I came down w/ a bad cold. Is it ok still nurse or use breast milk I pumped while I was sick?

Yes, definitely ok!
The only thing I'd make sure is that you didn't take any meds that aren't safe for BM.

Yes! Your bm develops antibodies that will help protect your baby. I had a stomach virus and it was passed to every single family member except DD and I am convinced it's because she was drinking my bm.

Best thing to do when you are sick is to nurse! It will help protect baby from catching the illness by getting the antibodies in your milk.

Yes, it will give your DC passive immunity. Plus, if I didn't, he wouldn't have anything to eat.

Yes. I nurse more when I'm sick and my DD has never caught my sicknesses. She has caught DHs though.

Yes, definitely keep nursing. You can't avoid contact with your baby anyway, but at least nursing passes antibodies along that could help your baby fight the cold. Dd never really got sick the first year and a half that I nursed her, even when dh and I got sick.
