How do you get a picky toddler to try new foods?
Does anyone have any suggestions that work? Even occasionally! DD has become so picky with dinner and it makes me nuts that she won't try things I know she would like. I don't push her and if she doesn't eat then I don't offer her anything else but I wish I could get her to even taste things here and there. Any tips that might work with a 2.5 year old?

How do you get a picky toddler to try new foods?
Mild bribery... my son is 2.5 as well, and kind of picky. If I give him something new, I always also have something I know he likes. At the beginning of the meal when I know he's hungry, I'll ask him to take just one bite of the new food, and then he can have the other food I know he likes. He always takes that one bite, and I let him spit it out, too, if he doesn't like it (he gets point for trying, and I wouldn't want to swallow food I don't like). Sometimes he ends up finishing the new thing, sometimes he won't touch another bite.

How do you get a picky toddler to try new foods?
DS used to eat EVERYTHING and now he's pretty picky as well.
I seem to have more luck offering him things I'm eating (aka: off my plate/fork). Most of the time, he won't want it anyhow but he does sometimes try. Oh, and even if he spits it out after trying, I praise him excessively for being so good and trying a new food.

usually if its a new food, DD doesnt want it in front of her but if she sees DH & I eating it, she will try it off of our adult sized forks/utensils LOL. and eventually she likes it and then next time I can give it to her directly.

How do you get a picky toddler to try new foods?
I am in the same boat! it is driving me nuts. Lately I have just been telling him everything is chicken and able to trick him to have a bite or two. I have also tried to keep him occupied doing something and sneak a piece of food in his mouth lol

How do you get a picky toddler to try new foods?
My inlaws feed my boys on weekends. For some reason they will eat anything for them.
