kindle fire help!
so we have a 1st generation ipad for our 4 year old and many new apps are not supported by the older OS or the apps constantly crash...
I'd like to get DS a kindle fire but have no clue which would be best. Any suggestions? Do we need more than the basic one for games, abc mouse, optimum, Netflix?

kindle fire help!
As long as you have wifi, a basic kindle fire will work just fine. If you're going to be using it places where there is no wifi, I would opt for the one with the ability to connect to a network.

Re: kindle fire help!
We have kindle fire. Love the parental controls on it,
The kids play with games or read books when they don't have wifi and they are fine with it.
